LINKFAIR NOMINEES LIMITED provides nominee shareholding and company secretarial services in Hong Kong. The distinction above is the whole basis on which we work: a nominee arrangement is a matter of public presentation, never of concealment from authorities.
The honest answer, set out in full
Who we are
LINKFAIR NOMINEES LIMITED is a Hong Kong corporate services company on Queen's Road East in Wan Chai. We act as nominee shareholder for clients, and we provide the ordinary company secretarial work that keeps a Hong Kong company in good standing.
Nominee shareholding is unremarkable and long-established. A trustee holds shares for a trust. A founder does not want a competitor reading the shareholder list to work out a joint venture. A family office consolidates holdings without publishing a family's affairs. All perfectly ordinary reasons, and all about the public record rather than about hiding.
The service also attracts people looking for something else entirely, and we would rather be clear on the front page than waste everyone's afternoon. Every arrangement we enter is documented, every client is identified, and the beneficial owner is recorded where the law requires it to be recorded. There is no version of this service where that is negotiable.
Privacy from the public is a service. Concealment from a regulator is a criminal offence. They are not adjacent.

Services
Most of it is administrative, deadline-driven and entirely unglamorous. Done badly, it produces fines and struck-off companies.
Holding shares on your behalf under a written declaration of trust, so that the beneficial ownership is documented even though the public register shows our name.
Statutory registers, board and shareholder resolutions, changes of officers and share capital, and the filings that follow each of them.
Annual return, business registration renewal and the calendar around them. Missed deadlines in Hong Kong carry escalating penalties.
Establishing and maintaining the significant controllers register that every Hong Kong company must keep — and keeping it accurate as ownership changes.
A registered address that is actually attended, with statutory correspondence handled rather than accumulating behind a door.
Share transfers, allotments and reorganisations, with the stamping, resolutions and register updates completed in the right order.
What it isn't
These come up in enquiries often enough that answering them once, publicly, saves everybody time. If any of the four is what you are looking for, no lawful firm in Hong Kong will provide it — and one that offers to is exposing you as much as itself.
Every Hong Kong company must keep a significant controllers register naming the people who really control it, and must produce it to law enforcement on demand. A nominee changes the public register. It does not change that one.
Banks are required to identify the beneficial owner behind an account, and a nominee structure does not sit between you and that requirement. Concealing it from a bank is a serious matter in its own right.
We identify every client and every beneficial owner before acting, and we keep those records. There is no expedited route, no premium tier and no arrangement in which this step is skipped.
A nominee holds legal title; you remain the beneficial owner with the tax, reporting and disclosure duties that attach to that. The structure changes who appears on a form, not who is responsible.
How it works
What the arrangement is for. If it cannot be stated plainly, we stop here.
Client and beneficial owner identified and verified, before anything is signed.
Declaration of trust, instructions and the terms on which we act, all in writing.
Registers maintained, filings made, and the controllers register kept current.
Client feedback
We were negotiating a joint venture and did not want the shareholder list read by the other side's advisers before terms were agreed. The arrangement was documented properly and explained to our own lawyers without difficulty.
The first meeting was largely about identification documents and about why we wanted the structure at all. I remember thinking it was heavy going. Our auditors later described the file as the cleanest they had seen.
Our annual return had been late two years running with a previous provider and the penalties were mounting. The calendar here is simply kept. It is a dull thing to praise and it is the entire reason we moved.

The purpose, the parties and the timing. Expect questions about identification early rather than late — that is how a file that holds up gets built.
